It is proposed to focus on increasing awareness about AYUSH’s strength in solving community health problems resulting from nutritional deficiencies, epidemics and vector-borne diseases, Maternal and Child Health Care etc. This component is aimed to provide grant-in-aid to State Government initiatives for the roll out of proven AYUSH interventions for improving health status of the population and also the identified National Campaigns by the Department of AYUSH, like Geriatric Campaign, Anti-anemia Campaign etc. through distribution of medicines, organizing Health awareness camps etc.

Ayurveda, Yoga & Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha and Homoeopathy streams of medicines comes under AYUSH. Primary, secondary and tertiary health care delivery through these systems of medicine is carried out by different institutions under department of AYUSH. The department undertakes medical aid to the people through a wide network of dispensaries and hospitals belonging to Ayurveda, Homoeopathy, Unani and Naturopathy & Yoga systems throughout Andhra Pradesh.

The scheme will be implemented by CSC e-Governance Services India Limited, a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) incorporated under the Companies Act 1956, (herein after referred to as "CSC-SPV"), under the overall supervision of Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology, with active collaboration of all the State Governments and UT Administrations.

After the completion of training, the trained candidates shall have to undergo a term-end online examination at a centre of the certifying agency.

The Training Partners shall set up the Training Centres in the selected Gram Panchayats with the appropriate manpower and requisite and infrastructure.

The Scheme envisages affiliating entities like NGOs/ Institutions/ Corporates, desirous of providing digital literacy training, as Training Partners with CSC-SPV subject to meeting prescribed norms.
