Scheme on Target specific New Drug Discovery for Anti Tubercular Agents aims at discovering high affinity ligands that can be developed into efficacious and less toxic drugs against TB. Among other things, this proposal use technique of post genomic era in identifying the role of specific gene in causing and counteracting diseases. Phase I of the project has duration of 3 years and Phase II of 2 years.

In case girls under 18 year of age are referred to the Centre, they will also be served in coordination with authorities/institutions established under the Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act, 2000 and Protection of Children from Sexual Offence Act, 2012.
