National Centre of Communication Security (NCCS), a centre under Department of Telecommunications (DoT) designates domestic Telecom Security Testing Laboratories (TSTLs) for carrying out conformity assessment of Telecommunication equipment in accordance with DoT's Security standards and/or Security requirements for Telecom equipment.

The division is responsible for issuing security certificate for the successfully tested Telecom Equipment.

Security Lab Recognition (SLR) Division is responsible for notifying Telecom Security Testing Laboratories (TSTL) designation mechanism along with requirements to be met by TSTL, conducting all activities associated with the designation of TSTL and designate TSTLs by issuing a certificate.

This division is responsible for developing Indian Telecom Security Assurance Requirements (ITSARs), Test procedures, best current practices, identification of Security test tools and managing the Security Assurance Standards Facility (SASF). The Security Assurance Standards (SAS) Division is also responsible for testing of network elements in case of any security breach reported and in referral cases.

The main purpose of GST Audit is to verify the correctness of turnover declared, taxes paid, refund claimed and input tax credit availed and to assess the compliance with the provisions of GST. To maintain a check and examine whether correct GST is being paid and the refund is claimed, certain taxable persons will be subject to audit under GST. The objective of a GST audit is to close the gap between the tax declared by the taxpayer and tax legally due.
